Actually I have something to say, Iam letting my brother to study and Iam giving him allowances and tuition fees for 2 years now, my brother is taking Machanical Engineering at RSU, so there is a question in my mind and I want to share it to other people.
I can say, education is one of the basic Human Rights that every Filipino should have. So, our Parents is responsible for the education of their children, isn't it? Right now, Iam handling that responsibility, so that will be the question now: "Is it our responsibility to let our siblings finish their studies?"
In my opinion, it is not a responsibility. It's an honor and privilege to let youre siblings are studying by youre means. This is one of the ways in giving back those gifts that we received. And as a part of the Filipino Culture, we are thinking that we are reponsible for them to finish their studies.
Hindi man lang nya naisip na Iam giving time and efforts just to let him study. There are lots of Filipinos who want to study but they cannot do that, due to lack of Financial Crisis. Ako graduate lang ng 2 years, but Iam still doing my best that educational attainment is not the basis of being successful someday.
